Building Hope Through Collaboration in Small Steps Three Kijang Innova Ambulance Units for RSUD Muda Sedia Aceh Tamiang


Aceh Tamiang (June 3, 2026) — In line with efforts to support post-disaster recovery following the flash floods and landslides that struck several areas across Sumatra Island in November 2025, Toyota Indonesia handed over three Toyota Kijang Innova Ambulance units to the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Muda Sedia of Aceh Tamiang Regency, Aceh. This assistance is expected to strengthen healthcare services as well as the mobilization of medical response for the community during the ongoing recovery period. 

The three Toyota Kijang Innova Ambulance units were handed over directly by the President Director of PT Toyota Motor Manufacturing Indonesia (TMMIN), Nandi Julyanto, accompanied by TMMIN Director I Nyoman Winaya, to the Director of RSUD Muda Sedia Aceh Tamiang, dr. Andika Putra SA, SpPD. The handover ceremony was also witnessed by the Regent of Aceh Tamiang, Inspector General of Police (Ret.) Drs. Armia Pahmi MH, along with regional officials and healthcare stakeholders of Aceh Tamiang Regency.

“We understand that the post-disaster recovery process is a long and difficult journey. Through this small step in the form of donating three Toyota Kijang Innova ambulance units, we hope to help facilitate the mobility of healthcare services for the people of Aceh Tamiang, so they can soon resume their activities as they did before the disaster struck,” said TMMIN President Director Nandi Julyanto.

The three Toyota Kijang Innova Ambulance units delivered will be used to support the healthcare service operations of RSUD Muda Sedia, including patient referral services, medical transportation, and various public healthcare service needs in the Aceh Tamiang area and its surroundings.

This initiative is also part of the continuation of Toyota Indonesia’s humanitarian assistance program together with supplier companies, which has been carried out since the post-disaster emergency response phase. Entering the recovery phase, Toyota Indonesia continues striving to contribute through support that is relevant to the needs of the community and public facilities in the affected areas.
