100 Creative TEY Ideas For Development Element Energy, Waste, Air, and Water Made Better

13th Toyota Eco Youth (TEY) competition projects and innovations repair environment life for high school and equivalent Toyota Indonesia's initiative, which started on April 30, 2024, and continued with a series of Activity socialization followed  by more than 2500 students ( online and also offline ) from 221 schools in Jakarta, Balikpapan, Makassar, Papua, Surabaya,  Yogyakarta, Bali, and Medan. The socialization of the program has sparked creativity and enthusiasm among the younger  generation to contribute to environmental care efforts by sending thousands of proposals.

At the 13th TEY, TEY was able to collect more than 1000 project ideas and innovations from the younger generation.  The thousands of ideas that have been poured out are a real manifestation of the participation of the younger  generation in decarbonization efforts, which is in line with Toyota's commitment to reducing carbon emissions.  The curation process was done throughout August 2024 against all netted proposals, up to determining the 100  best ideas. These proposals originate from 34 Provinces in Indonesia. In the curation process, the proposals Are  grouped into 4 categories: energy, waste, air, and water. 

In the category of energy, participants more Lots highlight the utilization of source power to create energy. In the category  of trash, participants' Lots raise ideas around the utilization of rubbish or waste for guarding a balanced environment. While  on the air theme, participants highlighted efforts to reduce carbon emissions or reduce the intensity of air pollution. Likewise,  participants who raised the water theme focused on the process of maintaining the quality of clean water. 

The 100 proposals with four categories will still go through the next curation stage until the 25 best proposals are selected.  At the top 25 stage, participants will receive mentoring in the project implementation process from the Toyota Eco Youth  Committee. The Toyota Eco Youth series of events will continue until early 2025 to select the winner with the best proposal  that can have a comprehensive and sustainable impact on the environment.
